Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
Arrival in Oslo. You have the afternoon on your own, and possibly visit St. Johan Gate for some shopping. In the historic district of Oslo, enjoy dinner at the 1857 Engebret Café. Overnight at in Central Oslo.

Day 2: 285 km OSLO / BEITOSTØLEN
In the morning enjoy a 3-hour city tour in Oslo with focus on "Beer and Food" (not bookable on Mondays). Afterwards, drive along Lake Tyrifjord to Hønefoss and through the Begna Valley to Aurdal, where you visit Hof Noraker. The 14th generation of rakfisk (edible fish preserved in brine) is produced here - a very sought-after delicacy. Off to Fagernes, where the Rakfisk Festival takes place annually. The fish from Hof ​​Noraker has won the first prize of the festival competition several times. Overnight in Beitostølen.

Day 3: 305 km BEITOSTØLEN / ÅNDALSNES
The scenic route of Valdresflya takes you across the Jotunheim Mountains. In Lom you can visit the Brimi seter. During a tour you will learn all sorts of interesting facts about the farm and the products of the pasture and taste the delicious homemade sausage. In Geiranger there is the possibility of a 1-hour boat trip on the impressive fjord. Then you drive along to Linge, and Trollstigen with its impressive hairpin bends.  Enjoy the view of the winding mountain road from the observation deck. Overnight in Åndalsnes.

Day 4: 155 km ÅNDALSNES / KRISTIANSUND
Via Åfarnes drive to the small fishing towns of Bud and Hustad on the coast. The highlight of the day is the eight bridges featured on Atlantic Ocean Road. Then it’s off to Kristiansund’s Clipfish Museum, one of Norway’s most important export products for centuries. Norwegian clipfish, salted and dried cod, is a cultural heritage with roots from the Viking Age. At that time, the fish was preserved with salt for long voyages and therefore remained edible throughout the entire journey. Clipfish is characterized by versatility and a distinctive taste. Overnight at in Kristiansund.

Day 5: 340 km KRISTIANSUND / GÅLÅ
Drive through a fantastic landscape via Oppdal, through the Gundbrand Valley to Sel, where you arrive at the Jørundgard Medival Museum. The reconstructed medieval courtyard was created for the film adaptation of the historical novel "Kristin Lavransdatter" by Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset. After a tour of the historic buildings, coffee and waffles are served. Continue and overnight in Gålå.

Day 6: 180 km GÅLÅ / HAMAR
Today's journey gives you the opportunity to visit the Maihaugen open-air museum in Lillehammer. In Nes, have a look at the Mølstad farm, where black currants are grown. Then visit the Atlungstad distillery with Akvavit production south of Hamar. Overnight in Hamar.

Day 8: 130 km HAMAR / OSLO
Return to Oslo for your return home journey.

THE ROMSDAL MUSEUM IN MOLDE
The Folk Museum is one of the largest in the country and shows buildings and facilities from all over the region. The Bygata street shows typical pre-war town houses in Molde. The museum is embedded in a beautiful park.

RINGEBU STAVE CHURCH
This distinctive stave church, situated in the middle of hills and farmland, was built around 1220. The bright red tower was added during renovation work in the 17th century. The interior shines again in the original color.

Local beer lovers have reopened this historic style brewery, which was closed in 1983, and are now brewing on a small but very high-quality scale in an atmosphere of the 1850s.
