Day 1: Oslo
Arrive in the vibrant Norwegian capital. Overnight in Oslo area.
Day 2: 385 km Oslo-Kinsarvik
Drive through Hallingdal and cross the impressive Hardangervidda mountain plateau to Geilo. Take a break at Fossli to see the spectacular Vøringfoss waterfall, here the water plunges into a depth of 189 meters. Continue through the narrow Måbø valley down to Kinsarvik situated by the Hardangerfjord, where it meets Eidfjord and Sørfjord. Stay 3 nights in Kinsarvik.
Day 3-4: Kinsarvik/Hardangerfjord
Enjoy 2 days to explore this fantastic and picturesque area. Autumn in Hardanger is the time when apples are harvested - visit one of the apple orchards and be treated to a delicious apple pie! Maybe take an excursion to Hardangervidda Naturcenter and get an experience of Norwegian culture and wildlife in this area. Another suggestion could be a visit to the Sima Power plant to experience how the Norwegians turn water into energy. A full day excursion to the Hanseatic Harbour town of Bergen could also be an option. Experience Bryggen and the fish market or take the funicular up the mountain Fløyen to get a magnificent view of the city.
Day 5: 395 km Kinsarvik-Oslo
Drive along Sørfjord to Låtefossen home to the twin waterfalls. Cross Haukeli mountain plateau via one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Norway. Continue through the famous Telemark region – the cradle of Skiing. In Heddal you can see the largest stave church in Norway. This wooden church is about 800 years old and has been a popular tourist attraction for 200 years. Overnight in Oslo.
Day 6: Oslo
You may have time for a sightseeing tour and visit the highlights of this beautiful capital before returning to your home country
